Client/Employer:
Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering
Colorado State University
For my position as the Communications and Marketing Manager for the college, I’ve created numerous logos and graphics for programs and events, appearing in print, on apparel, and various digital technologies. The designs below follow the university and college branding, using established fonts and iconography. In most cases, I’ve combined university icons into something new, such as the ram’s head into the lightbulb.
Engineering Exploration Week and Recruitment
For a number of years, prospective students were invited to campus to explore the engineering college. With many assets to develop, I created a logo/graphic that would work across uses, combining existing branded icons.
In 2023 and 2024, I used that icon combination to promote the college directly, creating a sticker design using “Colorado State University Engineering” instead of the exploration day text. Thousands of those stickers can be seen throughout campus and the Fort Collins community, particularly in local schools where potential students might come from.

Celebrate Global Engineering
Every two years, the college hosts a “Celebrate Global Engineering” event. The events invite international students and organizations to offer students and the campus community a glimpse of other global cultures. This graphic was used on social media assets, a “passport” for attendees during the event, flyers and stickers, and various digital media.

ENgage diversity program
Working with staff, I created a graphic to use with assets related to the college’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The ENgage series brought numerous speakers from campus and the country to CSU to talk about DEI efforts.

ENcourage Math Program
For social media, print, and other assets, I created a graphic that a new math program could use. The program, designed to help especially underrepresented incoming students be ready for engineering math, required assets that could be used across media.

ENpower Bridge Program
The ENpower program helps incoming students from underrepresented communities settle into their first semester of college as a group.
