These designs were for a system of construction fence banners surrounding the construction site of the Don and Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies Building, beginning in late 2025. They will surround the site until the building’s completion in 2028.
The banners are 5′ tall by 45′ feet long. The banners ultimately are duplicated onsite, and cover between 700 and 900 linear feet. They are highly visible on CSU’s plaza in front of thousands of people per day, and are designed to promote the college, the building’s future, and current branding.
Due to the nature of the panels being shifted around across the project, the panels were designed to work both together if possible and independently if not. An initial plan was presented to both the university and construction company for the ordering of the panels, which stayed relatively intact over time. The plan started from a south location, working north one by one around the site and then ultimately starting over with the designs.
